Where Pets are Family
Core Values:
Patient care
Education of Staff and Clients
Trust and Honesty
Sincere, Friendly and Kind
Patient Care:
We are here for the patient and to respond to the patient's needs. We need to tell the client what the patient needs. We need to give the client two yes options. Listen to the client's response.
Education of Staff and Clients:
Give the client our full attention and explain rule outs, diagnostics, and treatments clearly and send home appropriate handouts.
Weekly staff training meetings, 90 day training protocol for all new staff, and cross training. CE as appropriate. Staff must believe in our standards of care to work at our hospital.
Trust and Honesty:
Encourage staff to share feelings and ideas. Encourage ethical treatment of clients and patients in accordance with the veterinary practice acts. Hire only people that can be completely trusted and will be entirely honest. Dishonesty or a breach of trust is not to be tolerated of any staff, including doctors.
Sincere, Friendly and Kind:
Encourage sympathy and empathy for clients grieving and/or in difficult situations. Encourage treatment of patients, clients, and staff as you would like to be treated and as you would like your pets to be treated. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Remember that all patients are beautiful and wonderful and deserve hugs, pets and kisses. Remember that all clients that come to your clinic come to you for help and should be treated like family and with dignity and respect.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality of medicine and surgery available with a focus on patient care and compassion in a warm, friendly family atmosphere that encourages both staff, and client growth, education and well-being.
